I bought an MP7, and an external battery kit, and with this red dot, I can use an external battery source without a battery box/PEQ on the side of my gun. It has boosted my rate of fire, as well as the life, of the gun. However, some internal upgrades were necessary, because that amount of speed does put some stress on the gun. Great accessory.
