Shredder's Concave Spacer (SCS) High Performance Airsoft Hopup Spacer [Parts_PS_SCS] $6.00 Shredder's Concave Spacer (SCS) High Performance Airsoft Hopup Spacer 1. What is Shredder's Concave Spacer (SCS)? Shredder's Concave Spacer (SCS) replaces the stock hop-up nubs/spacers that come along with AEG's and most Airsoft Sniper Rifles. It it manually made on a lathe and each SCS is individually measured with the use of a Mitutoyo Digital Caliper in order to get a precise measurement that will make it fit inside the hop assembly and the barrel window. 2. What is the SCS made of and why? The SCS is made from a special engineering plastic which is light, flexible, chemical and wear resistant to create a durable, long lasting hopup spacer. 3. Is the SCS better than the other nubs and spacers out in the market? Why? YES the SCS is better! The reason is that out of all the designs and measurements, the concave shape of the SCS and its wide curving surface provides the BEST hopup rubber bucking to BB surface contact. This solid contact centers the BB inside the barrel and eliminates the excess lateral movement as the BB passes through the hop up bucking. None of the other hopup spacers come close to the quality and performance of Shredder's Concave Spacer (SCS). 4. What airsoft guns can I install the SCS into? The SCS can be installed into any airsoft electric gun (AEG). The SCS can also be installed in most airsoft sniper rifles and submachine guns. When you need extreme accuracy and unparalleled precision choose the SCS. Sniper rifles may require modification and should be installed by an experienced airsoft technician for maximum performance. I am an experienced airsofter, being that I have repaired and upgraded just about every common AEG and Bolt-Action Rifle, and I can tell you that the SCS is an amazing innovation. The concave shape allows to the hop-up rubber to be conformed in the most even way to the bb, allowing the most balanced contact with the bb, thus resulting in an consistent hop-up that results in tighter grouping and increased range. The SCS can be used with any AEG, and is also able to be used in a Bolt-Action Sniper with some modification, which can be found on your favorite airsoft Form, or Shredders own website. I have bought 4 of these, 3 of them being a direct drop-in to an AEG, and all have shown impressive results. The other one was installed in my Bar-10 and has wielded great groupings! 5/5!!!
