Review:
Story of Manufacture: A very unique AEG. Just
like the Scar, JLS is no longer a "Reverse Engineering"
manufacture as they are able to release this rifle and the SCAR
series before Tokyo Marui or anyone else. Just like the rest of
the AEG being "Marui Clone". All scar and this hurricane battle
rifle released in the future will be a "JLS clone", bringing
China's ability to design to the next level.
First impression of this rifle is amzing. The
finish is great and the feel is great. All the parts such as
barrle assembly, sights, upper receiver, barrel, magazine,
trigger, safety, sling hook, rails are all metal. No where on
this gun you see the manufacture slack off or looking cheap.
Packaging is a generic brown box for importation purpose, but
the manual and everything you need is included (battery and
charger).
Pro:
- Easy battery installation. Plenty of room for a 8.4V or 9.6V
small type, custom type and possibly a nun-chuck if the inside
barrels are carved away. The hand guard is installed by removing
the metal cap at the front of the gun, a much better design than
the traditional delta ring / pin removal designs.
- High power: Very good gearbox air seal. Shooting 380~400 at
high rate of fire.
- From the sound of the gearbox, its pretty solid. It is not a
very strong spring yet shooting like a M120. That's impossible
on a Tokyo Marui or Classic Army. This gun shooting 380+ fps can
still run even on a 7.2V showing how good the air seal /
internal gear set / motor must be.
- The AEG is very quiet.
- The best part about this gun is it's unique shape. The
retractable stock is one of the most solid stock around and very
sturdy. Buy this gun today and you won't find another like it on
the field in the next few months.
Con:
-The only problem on this AEG is that it mis-feeds
on full-auto. Shoots perfect on semi-automatic, can be used as a
great sniper. On full auto the gearbox seem to spin too fast so
it skips bb sometimes. But because the internal parts are
compatible parts, it is not an issue for people with some
gearbox knowledge. After all, it is under $200 and full metal
with battery, charger and hi-cap magaizne.
