Submited By: T. M. on 09/28/2009 I have this gun and it is awesome. I got mine about 4 months ago and from Airsplat. I know they aren't the best but if the sale on here goes away get it from Airsplat, it is $115 there. It is very good, but I recomend lubing it up. Mine started to jam after a couple thousand rounds I would say, but the lube fixed it up completly. I would say it shoots around 360 fps, although I don't have a chrono that's what my guess is. It may not seem super high, but it goes about 100ft or more. It is also super accurate. It has a super tiny grouping. At about 30ft all the BB's are in a perfect line and they barely go out at any distance. The battery goes in the bottom hand guard, but if you get an M203 you can put the battery in the top, it is just a little tight. I don't know if evike gives different batteries, but the one Airsplat gave me was pretty good, it was a 8.4v 1100mah battery that I accidentally fried. GET A SMART CHARGER! With an Intellect 8.4v 1600mah this thing has a crazy ROF (don't worry, the mag keeps up) although even with a stock battery the ROF is good. If you play field games that are at least an hour long I recommend 2 high caps or a combo that gives you atleast 900rds including the mag given. I don't know what the one reviewer was talking about, the mag is easy to load, and no more difficult to load than any other hi-cap mag. He is right about the loading rod, and although the Japanese stink at translating into English, it isn't that hard to figure out.
Pros:
Good fps
Good ROF
Full metal except handguards and stock
Super Accurate
Easy to access internals incase of jam or for cleaning
Funny manual
Cons:
Jams after couple thousand rds (nothing lube can't fix though)
Can't see through back sight with full face mask that covers cheeks
but not really a problem because it is so accurate that you can just put you face next to it and see where the bbs are going
All in all a super-good low-cost high-quality M4 | |
