I've found that this ends up being a few too many rounds for me, I prefer mid or high caps. The magazine is plastic, but the plastic is very strong and has but a few small scratches in spite of numerous bumps, falls, etc. I would highly recommend putting some silicon oil in it before use. It has definitely helped with the feeding of the magazine, which now feeds flawlessly every time. All in all, a good magazine.
