To answer your question, NO the scope is not real, this gun is the one of of the worst guns you could get for the money. I had one, and it broke after about 200 or so shots, the laser is cool, but hard to find batteries for. Really weak action. I took it apart after it broke, and found that it has a plastic barrel that is made of multiple sections, it makes this gun really inaccurate. Not worth the money.
