ok once again because it seems people are misreading my reviews tokyo marui makes some of the best internals however it you want to upgrade it you must upgrade the gearbox which is usually around 80 bucks upgrde the gears and thats 20 per gear 3 gears thats 60 bucks upgrade the spring which is usually 20 bucks and up the battery which its usually recommended to use a 9.6 if upgrading the spring and gears and most maruis just dont wanna hold a 9.6 again thee guns are good internal wise and could probably hold a 110 spring for a while but the gearboxes usually crack after upgrading the springs but again for the more experienced players i would go with kwa or somthing like that but again if you have the money and dont mind putting it all in your gun go marui but if you dont put the cash into upgrading it try it out in a outdoor field and see how you like it any more questions send me an e-mail my team is always testing guns austinmel2@yahoo.com

Must give Marui gun justice. The importance of a "reliable gearbox" cannot be forgotten. All Japanese items have perfect quality control and if you want higher fps, its only a simple spring upgrade. I upgrade all my Marui to 400 fps the day I buy them and they never fail me. The finish on all Marui guns are perfect.

The clones out there are very cheap price and by all means get them. But for people that play airsoft for more than 5 years, Marui is the standard of Airsoft and they designed all the gearbox system. Everyone else simply copies Marui design. Labor is cheaper in China so you want to get a low price clone its fine. If you want to get a over priced clone also made in China like Classic Army, then get a Marui since its Japanese quality control.

I still like Marui guns. 280 fps is the standard for all Tokyo Marui. They are the "originals"!

FPS is super high like some of the Tokyo Marui Clones, but its not too hard to upgrade them anyways. Very reliable gearbox for those that wants a reliable gun, Marui is still the way to go.
