It does shoot hard for an 8mm, I've chronoed mine at over 400 with all three BBs giving it an effective range of about 80-90 with spread. Cons: The gas valve looses seal very quickly. Everyone who got one has the same problem. After a couple weeks you cannot effectively fill it with gas. Conclusion: It is more for your wall than game play. Fun to show off. I did manage to help the seal work by cutting a gasket out of a rubber band, but it will never seal properly until the fix the problem with a new valve, that I have yet to find. Submited By: Johnson L. on 07/19/2008 This is a very very nice shotgun! For $160, it is a lot better than i expected. It is very realistic with full metal parts. Very nice chrome shinny finish. Some wonder why you want a "pump shotgun" that is gas powered and let me tell you. The pump is a very light pump that "chambers" the next shot. Just like a real shotgun. it is not "cocking the spring" like a spring gun. It is the perfect simulation of a shotgun and you can cock this rifle with ONE HAND! Thats PRICELESS!
