will this work on a UTG MK96 Shadow Ops Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle?

No! it will not work. It is ONLY for Pre Gen 3 Rifles.. In other words, If you have a Gen 3 Rifle, it will do Nothing.. Its an upgrade for Gen 1 & 2 Only... Hope this helps...
